The Most Consciousness-Expanding Substance This side of Eden's Tree of Knowledge

I would like to point out, "Virtual Earth Graduate" and "The Transformation of Man", also by Hegland, are companion volumes, with "VEG" intended to be read first. Seekers, heed the endorsement of Jim Marrs on the back cover of this book.
In VEG, I see developments of ideas I have encountered in the work of C. S. Lewis, whom many regard as the 20th century's greatest intellectual defender of the Judeo-Christian ethos. In Lewis' short, clever, almost psychedelic "The Great Divorce," a man finds himself temporarily in the afterlife, where the grass is so sharp and green that it hurts the senses, the air is so fragrant and pungent with life that it is almost overbearing, and the trees so "there" that they seem almost menacing. In VEG, one of Hegland's over-arching themes is that, The Earth Is Not Our Home: REALity awaits. Also, in Lewis' "The Abolition of Man", he discusses "men without 'chests'", or, people who are unequipped with a conscience, unable to discern matters of the heart (such as "beauty", or "justice"). One of the eyebrow-raising revelations of VEG is the discussion of how this earth has come to be populated by a branch of humans who do not possess souls. For a time, Mr. Hegland was given the ability to see auras; during that period, a significant portion of the people he came in visual contact with, did not display one. No 'chest' = no aura? I continued to be surprised while reading VEG; indeed, I said "Whoa" out loud, more than once.
In addition to citing a copious amount of traditional sources, Mr. Hegland states matter-of-factly that he received some extra-sensory enlightenment in the course of his research. Not long ago, I would have been very skeptical of such a claim; nowadays, I am so absolutely un-fazed by such things, it is remarkable. This book had the profound effect of "settling into" my working knowledge of the world, broadening my perspective, and giving me a new "tuning fork" against which I can test that which is false, and that which "rings true."
This is a book that you need to be "ready" for. It would help to be passingly familiar with the evidence that ET's have been to Earth in the past. But, I do not mean only that the potential reader will be better served by having previously taken 'Anunnaki 101', I mean, she needs to be ready to understand the truth about why this world is just so miserable, messed up, screwed up, and FUBAR'ed. As Mr. Hegland points out...we truly are in hell on earth. I have been on a tear in recent months, reading all I can absorb in a quest to "figure it all out." Now that I have assimilated this eye-opening book, I have no further questions at this time regarding who is really "running the show"; it is now my fervent desire, as well as my sworn mission, to light up my spine from bottom to crown.
For the paranoid among us: Mr. Hegland has confirmed our suspicions. There are certain powers that be (including the one whose figurehead likes last names with Roman numerals and makes his appearances from the balcony), who are very interested in keeping things the way they are, because that ensures the propagation of their influence, and, more importantly, helps to keep us from knowing the Truth. The Nag Hammadi Scrolls were kept under wraps for some 30 years by certain powers that be, due to content that disagreed with the accepted narrative. (If this intrigues you, wait 'til you hear what else VEG reveals that has, over the years, been manipulated and suppressed.)
Truth comes to light; gnosis seeks those who wish to know. Mr. Hegland appears to have accomplished no less than the gathering together of the scattered fragments of gnostic teaching into a complete and coherent whole. and this reader could not be more impressed. For the hopeful among us, we now have something, besides blind "faith", as the substance of things hoped for.
"Virtual Earth Graduate" is fascinating, revelatory, and a veritable tour de force of scholarly sleuthing. Be prepared to repeatedly experience that thrilling phenomenon we have come to describe as, "Eureka!"

I continue to seek enlightenment and continue to read whatever related material I can get my hands on. I should like to temper (just a touch) my comment about this book being a "complete" treatment of gnosticism. Mr. Hegland will forgive my enthusiasm, and will most likely agree with me that there may never actually be such a thing on this Earth, as long as the archons continue to wreak their havoc. Are we the product of Enki's genetic engineering, or are women from Earth, and men from Orion? Is this planet a living organism, or a 3D hologram? Did Jesus not die on the cross, as the Kashmiri Buddhists say, or did he never even exist, as Acharya S claims? Those questions are not as important as the conclusion Mr. Hegland has helped me to reach: 1: Know the difference between good and bad; 2: Think good thoughts; and 3: Do good things.
Peace, shalom, namaste, etc. to you all. I love you. (At least, I am trying really freaking hard to. Those of you with a soul, anyway. ;-)

Wow!

Jay really brings it all home in this book. He bravely blows many entrenched icons, religious beliefs, and traditionally held science "facts" out of the water in Virtual Earth Graduate. I couldn't put it down. Yes, there is some info here that may seem unusual even to the most jaded, well read alternative believer, but I'll tell you this, you won't be bored. What about Einstein, Jesus, Darwin, the Church, the Earth simulation, the real reason we are here? Is it all true? I have no idea, but Jay is unabashedly the most comprehensive writer on this subject. His succinct, daring, non frightening writing brings us all to the same conclusion. We are here in a prison planet, a school of sorts, and it's time for all of us who are alert, sentient beings to graduate off this planet. Bravo Jay! Thank you so much for writing this amazing book. And believe me, I've read almost all of them! In the grand tradition of forerunners such as Newton, Modi, and Sitchen, Jay Hegland takes us to the next level of consciousness. Plus he's just a pretty cool guy and a GREAT writer.

Captivating

I am interested in ancient history/culture ,Virtual Graduate Earth gives great possible explanations to many of Life's mysteries & ancient history/culture , I'm captivated by the book.
Starting with the cover intrigued me.
The book enriches your knowledge and you can take away much information from the authors knowledge of history , cultures , faiths , travels & ideas even if they differ somewhat from your own....gives you food for thought.
I now have many more new ideas & information I never heard before about ancient history/culture and many more aspects of life.
