This book has been able to help me understand some of the skills that a pharmacists must posses, things that, considering that i myself don't reside in the US, don't teach me at my faculty. I would recommend this book to anyone interested in clinical pharmacy (although this book also cover community pharmacy) in specific and to those students who are studying pharmacy in a country where pharmacy isn't exactly developed so they can get an idea what kind of activities a pharmacist do in a hospital setting

A significant advance for interface design

This book offers a substantive development for interface design. Bennett and Flach present the full package; a strong theoretical foundation, a comprehensive strategy of analysis, and a detailed strategy for representational design. To illustrate the intricacies in application of their design strategy, they offer design tutorials on process control, aircraft control, mobile phones, and command and control. However, their strategy can be generalized to any complex, interactive work domain.

I cannot remember the last time I was so enthusiastic about a book. Am I being overly enthusiastic? This is an area that has troubled me throughout my professional career of 30+ years. Interface design professionals have not done a good job of linking foundational theory to analysis and then following through with a strong conceptualization that links the analysis to the design. I have read many books on this topic over the years, generally finding something of value but not, until now, finding a systematic and comprehensive treatment that can transition interface design from an art form into a well-ordered discipline.

Great Kid's Book!

I really enjoyed this book. I thought it was a cute story. It shows kids what it's like to be greedy and grumpy, and that it is not fun to be like that and it doesn't pay to take things from other people if it is not yours. It also shows that when you work hard at something and share it with others, you will feel good about yourself. It helps kids realize the true meaning of love and that when your happy life is much more enjoyable. I think it's a great book for kids to learn from! I would recommend this book for your kids!!

I really enjoyed this book. I thought it was a cute story. The Grumpy Easter Bunny

ISBN 0816775907 - Printed in Singapore. "Publishers Weekly" Best-Seller. Easter is celebrated in a lot of different ways - Christian, pagan, and the "hey, free candy!" set. I am just not able to fit this book into ANY of those groups.

The bunnies spend all year making treats to hide for others on Easter, as the "messengers of Spring." Hopper doesn't see the value in that. What he sees is that he works hard and doesn't get to have the treats, so he takes them home and makes himself sick eating them. In the morning, Hopper finds a group of kittens who are willing to share the single treat they've found and between their example and his own stomachache, Hopper doesn't feel well at all. He feels even worse when Sir Byron, the Great Hare, asks him why he's neglected his job and then Sir Byron gives the kittens the chance to hide Hopper's treats as honorary Easter Bunnies. Hopper sees the wonder and joy of Easter morning firsthand and never again neglects his duties.

This is a fairly small book, a good size for tucking in your purse or diaper bag. The pages are sturdy board, which can take some rough handling, and they're glossy, so they wipe clean easily. The text, by Justine Korman, is too wordy for the usual board book audience of 0-3 year olds and the font is way too small for beginning readers. There isn't anything that I recognize as a particularly Easter message. Those are generally rebirth, renewal, new life - and none of those are here. At best, there's a message about being greedy versus sharing. Lucinda McQueen's illustrations are mostly pastel, the exceptions being the periodic red wheelbarrow and Sir Byron's red vest. This makes them, for me, very boring and not especially attractive. Not ugly, or bad, just boring.
