Favorite books in Sobriety

I have been sober for quite a few 24 hours, and during that time, I have read many spiritual books. I have learned from all of the books I have read; however my two all time favorites are The Spirituality of Imperfection and An Encounter With A Prophet.

Truly fabulous book

Truly fabulous book, embodies the underlying spirituality of Alcoholics Anonymous and other twelve step programs. My only criticism is how the authors emphasize that religions are concerned with perfection whereas spirituality is concerned with imperfection...any good "religious" read (e.g., Richard Rohr, Breathing Under Water: Spirituality and the Twelve Steps) shows more correctly how AA's spirituality of imperfection comes from Christianity...spirituality is not in opposition to religion.

Must reading. Loaded with anecdotal material from several major religions. It's premise is not one that comes across but rarely. It is very tuned to the philosophy and work of AA. An easy and enjoyable read.
